Original 1/3 Scale Hyperreal Movie Statue
JND Studios’ 5th project is 1/3 scale Harley Quinn of Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn posed new challenges for us. It was a character much requested in the community, and we needed to up the ante on the innovative skills and techniques that we are becoming known for.
For this project, we wanted to create likeness through a brand new technique, and we gave our all into the making of Harley Quinn. To the JND hyperreal elements of silicone skin, glass eye, and rooted hair were added dentures and gums to ensure high quality mass production.
Other characters with visible teeth are on the market, but well-painted teeth at the 1/3 scale are nearly impossible find. So JND is producing our own dentures in our headquaters to guarantee all the smiles of Harley Quinn come out beautiful and hyperreal.
We have increased the edition size significantly from previous products. The reason for this is the increase production cost for the new and astounding techniques utilized in Harley Quinn production. In order to keep the price point close to previous JND products for our collectors we are producing more units. This way, more collectors will also have the opportunity to display this beautiful piece.
We will continue to run on all cylinders to create the best production pieces for our collectors while keeping the delivery date as promised.
